I’m so glad you had that article from Rob Enderie! I backed up all my Google applications. About 2 years ago I was contacted by Google that my account had been hacked and all I had to do was change my password. I was lucky!
Incidentally, is it just me or is Google behaving like PayPal now? I will NEVER use PayPal after hearing about their abuses. There are no checks and balances there, either.

Yes, Google and PayPal do whatever they want as long as they don’t break the law. In fact all large companies can get away with abuses. It’s the small companies that have to meet the needs of their customers in order to stay in business. Can you guess where my money goes? 😉
