  1. There are some interesting thoughts in those links! About the flex nibs – part of me wants one, badly. But another part of me is worried (or perhaps the better word here is “convinced”) that I would damage the nib because I don’t know how to use a flex nib yet.


    • Flex does take some adjustment to the degree of pressure that gets applied. There is also a rhythm to it with more pressure on the down stroke and less on the upstroke. However, too much pressure can ruin the nib. At around $20, Noodler’s is a good place to start.
