This is so simple and useful. Fill a small jar with rice and push an ink sample to the bottom. Remove the bottle cap and fill your pen. Voilà!

I prefer the Lego solution. I don’t like to use food for non eating purposes.
I would have to purchase a box of Legos for which I have no other use. Instead, I reused a medicine jar filled with rice that keeps for years and in this case four or five so far. Some folks use marbles. Whatever works, eh?
