An Inkophile Giveaway For Valentine’s Day
02/14/2015It’s Valentine’s Day and time to share a little love with my inky friends.
Luxury Brands USA and Monologue have been generous supporters sending multiple items, more than I can use including two small ruled notebooks and a pink Platinum Preppy fountain pen. If you could put these items to use, just add a comment with how you would do so and that will be your entry in the giveaway. This contest is limited to one entry per person and U.S. residents only. The winner will be selected via Random.org at 10 PM PST, February 15, 2015. The winner will have 48 hours to claim the prize or another name will be selected.

l’d use one notebook to collect autographs of the best handwriters I meet, and use the pen and the other notebook as a present to my husband (who manages my handwriting business) as part of my continuing efforts to persuade him into a love of fine pens & fine paper.

I love the Platinum Preppy! I would use the smaller book to catalogue my pens, pencils, and notebooks. The larger one would be for taking meeting notes, etc. Thanks for the giveaway!

I purchased my first pen when I was 12. It was very special because I had to save my pennies in order to buy. I think from that day forward I have loved pens and beautiful handwriting. I write a bit each morning and this combo would be perfect…a perfect Valentine’s Day gift ,too.

I would use the small notebook for jotting down quick notes at work, and the big one for journaling (I’ve trying to start the habit). I really like the Preppy’s; they are the best “disposable” pens.

I’m a list maker! I’d fill one with my lists: shopping, errands, to dos, art project ideas, work tasks, etc. The other one I’d carry around to jot down details for my next art projects. 🙂

Thanks for the opportunity, Margana. I use a Preppy pen every day for entries into my this-is-what-went-on-today journal, and really like it. I’d love to have a backup. As for the notebooks: well, I’m sure that my kids and I can find ways in which to fill those.

The small notebook will hold my (almost) daily observations. The larger one, and the Preppy, will accompany me on my next trip, wherever that may be.

I’ve always wanted to try a Platinum Preppy, and I’d use it with the large notebook to keep my workout records. The small notebook would be for my daily jottings – lists, things that catch my attention, the occasional sketch. Thanks for offering this!
