Diamine Jade Green
07/12/2010Courtesy of Biffybeans there are a few new Diamine inks in the queue and Jade called first dibs on coming out to play. How could I resist?
First reaction…
- such a pale ink for real use
- okay for fun though
- darkens a bit as it dries
- free-flowing but not lubricating
The only use I might have for Diamine Jade Green is for a bit of early spring foliage. I like my green darker or with a lot more blue. Some colors work well on the gray paper in my daily journal but Jade isn’t one of them. In fact it is far more interesting on dead white paper so if that is your preference, Jade might be a fine addition to your ink arsenal.
